description: Point geometry feature class representing retail alcohol outlets (on- and off-premise point-of-service alcohol retailers), developed directly from address information obtained from the January (current year) liquor licensee lists that were obtained from the Colorado Department of Revenue-Liquor Enforcement Division (DOR-LED). Coordinate locations (latitude/longitude) were derived using the known street addresses of licensees using the Centrus MapMarker geocoding software and database. Google Maps/Imagery was used to find a small number of coordinate locations that were not identified using Centrus MapMarker. This file was developed for use in activities and exercises within the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). CDPHE nor DOR-LED are responsible for data products made using this publicly available data. It should be stated that neither agency is acting as an active data steward of this map service/geospatial data layer at this point in time.
