Description: These data provide information related to releases from underground storage tanks regulated by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS). The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Tracking program collaborated with the Water Quality Control Division (WQCD), OPS and the Colorado Geologic Survey (CGS) to create an atlas of groundwater vulnerability. The Groundwater Vulnerability Tool is comprised of datasets representing potential impacts related to groundwater quality. The intended user is environmental health regulatory staff, likely at the county or state level, making determinations that rely in part on knowing the quality of groundwater in an area, potential impacts and performing due diligence.
